Leiweke Joins MLSE

Larry Tanenbaum, Chairman of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, announced Friday that Tim Leiweke has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of MLSE. Mr. Leiweke was most recently President and CEO of Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), the international sports and entertainment company that owns the Los Angeles Kings, the Los Angeles Galaxy and a stake in the Los Angeles Lakers.

Leafs Fans Unite

Mike Ulmer recently wrote a blog on 150 faithful leafs fans who gathered at Air Canada Centre’s Gate 5 Monday to participate in a promotion called Wendel Says. Participants played for a chance to win leafs playoff tickets as well as copious amounts of swag.
