We here at MLSE pride ourselves on the culture we’ve cultivated within our organization. We understand that to excite our fans, we have to be fans ourselves. We are driven to excel in everything we do, and it is this collective drive that powers our passion and pride.
Recently, the passion and pride we pour into our organizational culture was recognized by The Learning Partnership as one of Canada’s Top 10 Employers for our "Take Your Kids to Work" program, and Waterstone Human Capital as a winner of their competition for Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures.
This year’s Take Our Kids To Work Day theme was centred around the importance of pursuing post-secondary studies and the benefits of early career exploration when choosing a post-secondary institution. Veronica Lacey, President & CEO of The Learning Partnership: "We are very pleased to recognize these organizations. Their support of Canada’s young people is commendable, and they are setting an example for other employers to follow."
Recognized as well, as one of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures in 2012, MLSE has been regarded as having "a unique corporate culture story to tell", as stated by Waterstone Chairman and CEO, Marty Parker. "Their common attribute, however, is their ability to align their corporate culture with their behaviour and their business goals. MLSE demonstrates that great people – who are the right fit – create great cultures, and great cultures create a competitive advantage that generates outstanding results, in both good times and in bad."
Both of these awards are great testaments to the people that make MLSE an exceptional place to work! Stay up to date on all the latest MLSE People happenings by following us on Twitter at @MLSEJobs.
