In its inaugural summer, BMO Field hosted over 260,000 fans during 12 games as the main venue for the 3rd most watched sporting event in the world, the FIFA U-20 World Cup. September 7, 2007, Phil Collins and the phenomenally successful band Genesis took the stage for the first time in fifteen years in Canada under a magic summer sky in front of a capacity crowd of more than 28,000 fans. As one of only three stadium dates in North America, this marked BMO Field’s first concert and launched the North-American leg of Genesis’ "Turn It On Again" World Tour.
